Léon Aicher is a German-French photographer who grew up in a cinephile environment which sharpened his view for moving and still image photography. He carried out this passion for photography in his BA studies at HSBI and graduated in the summer of 2021.
His work is rooted in documentary photography and has evolved to a transmedia-based artistic approach. Using photographic images as a medium to visualise immateriel things.



He is living and working in Dortmund, where he is also currently enrolled in the MA photography program at FH Dortmund.
